Hm? Koss uses Apply Poison all the time for me.

It takes, what, two-three seconds to activate Apply Poison, so for the first two-three seconds of the fight Koss will just stand there, because he's activating the skill. Could it be that you're seeing?

Also - he's got a weapon which CAN be poisoned, right?

Heroes have always had terrible and flawed AI, like Henchmen. Sometimes they fail more than usual.

Hey any of you guys noticed the pauses the heroes and even the enemy AI has been doing? Really watch the battles sometimes and don't fight yourself just watch the AI. You'll see them do the "think" emote and put their hand on their waist. I've even seen one of them start DANCING lmao. It's hilarious also in that the battles won't start at a distance sometimes the mobs and my heroes will actually get into melee range and almost look like they shake hands before they start fighting. I've seen this many times if I don't start the fight. Really just watch your heroes and mob AI sometimes it's quite the laugh.

GW code in general is VERY sloppy. I know a friend who looked at the source code (Permission) and it is VERY sloppy. When GW was created, Anet had to start from scratch on their Engine, and gues what, they barely knew how to code. Result, 3 years later, 10000 glitches later, that same code still is sloppy... They couldn't implement a Z-axis due to lack of "skill", point proven...

Hero AI is bad, worse, it's downright redicilous sometimes (I play HB, I know) but look at it like this;
-> If it's PvE, it's easy anyways, if your Heroes fail, wiki a bar for them or try again...
-> If it's PvP (HB is on the edge tough), your enemy suffers the same handicaps you do...

Observe top HB matches, more often than not, the 'win' of the match is decided by who's heroes fck up less... (I've seen many people simply resign after the enemy packer killed theirs... They should, cuz form there on, it only goes downhill...)

One of the weirdest threads I've ever seen

Seriously, if your heroes suck it's only your fault for not equiping them with right stuff/skillz.

I tried A Gate Too Far HM H/H for about the baggilionth time yesterday and seemed to have trouble with it for the first time. I dunno.

Then again, me and some guildies Heroed our way through FoW last night and our heroes performed superbly.
